Twitch teams up with Teespring to help broadcast partners get into merchandising

Some select gamers are getting famous thanks to gameplay livestreaming, and now Twitch is offering them a way to capitalize on their e-fame.

The video website for gamers announced today that it is partnering with the custom T-shirt company Teespring. Twitch will enable its partners to create unique shirts that fans can buy from the site’s store. This will provide another way for broadcasters to earn cash from their livestreaming in addition to ads and subscriptions.
