Twitch and esports event group DreamHack renew their partnership for 2017

Twitch just made sure that it’ll continue to broadcast action from one of the world’s largest esports providers.

The livestreaming site announced today that it has renewed its deal with DreamHack, which runs competitive gaming shows in North America and Europe. DreamHack is one of the site’s oldest partners, making this the ninth year Twitch will broadcast its competitions. According to DreamHack, its events in 2016 drew 233,000 visitors and over 135 million broadcast viewers. Twitch is the leader in the livestreaming field, attracting over 100 million users a month.
