Theorcraft Games launches action battle royale Supervive 1.0

Theorycraft Games announced the 1.0 launch of Supervive, an action battle royale with endless playstyles, going live globally today on Steam.

It also launched the company’s official launch trailer, which you can see in the post.

Previously, Theorycraft, CEO Joe Tung detailed the updates in the Supervive 1.0 overhaul, headlined by the Armory–a new foundational progression system that gives players persistent loadouts, build-defining gear, and the freedom to customize every match with nearly 100 items at launch – all usable in every game with no pay-for-power.

In Supervive, players face off in all-out, multi-squad teamfights; take down boss monsters for big loot; get that win and run it back. Squad up with friends and dive into 10-team battle royales, 2-player duos, or 4v4 deathmatches. With 16 unique hunters, each with distinct abilities, players can build a team of hyper-styled heroes, all designed to be self-sufficient playmakers.

Founded by veterans of Riot Games, Bungie and Blizzard, Theorycraft Games raised $87 million in two rounds.

The company is an independent game studio trying to make deep, 10,000-hour games that are better when played with friends. Theorycraft was formed in December 2020 by a founding team that includes Joe Tung, Mike Tipul, Michael Evans, and Areeb Pirani.

At the heart of Supervive’s relaunch is the Armory, a foundational new system that adds
persistent progression, meaningful customization, and rich meta-strategy. With nearly 100 items available at launch and dozens of build paths per Hunter, players will now be able to theorycraft and dominate in their own way, whether you’re turning Ghost into a laser mage or Kingpin into a lockdown support.
