The Witcher III: Wild Hunt sells over 4M copies in 2 weeks

Witching, it appears, is a popular activity among gamers.

Developer CD Projekt Red has confirmed that it has sold more than 4 million copies of its latest release The Witcher III: Wild Hunt. For comparison, the first two Witcher games have only sold around 6 million copies total. In a letter to fans, CD Projekt Red cofounder Marcin Iwiński thanked his community. He also promised to continue supporting the open-world role-playing game with downloadable content and updates to fix bugs and more. But, really, this post from Iwiński seemed liked a chance to express gratitude for the fastest-selling Witcher release yet.
