The Evil Within is a return to glory for Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami, but these PC “cheat” codes for the survival-horror game are great for the faint-hearted (or anyone wanting to goof around).

Publisher Bethesda Softworks said last week that it’s possible to increase the framerate of The Evil Within from 30 frames per second to 60 frames per second on PC using debug commands, which enable you to alter aspects of the game. The 60fps benchmark is the gold standard for today’s triple-A titles, so an initial lock at 30fps disappointed many gamers.
