As we await new game consoles from Sony and Microsoft this fall, publishers still have plenty of time to make money selling games for the last generation of game consoles.

Grand Theft Auto VThe Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are expected to arrive by November, and so game publishers are rushing out their last remaining Xbox 360-only or PlayStation 3-only games. The obvious big game coming is Grand Theft Auto V, which debuts on Sept. 17 on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. Analysts expect it to sell so well that it might very well dampen enthusiasm for the next-generation consoles.
