As the Pokémon Go frenzy continues, children in civil war-torn Syria are asking the world to consider their plight when hunting for Pikachus, Zubats, and Charmanders.
As reported by The Guardian and U.S. Uncut, refugee advocate Taim Shami had initiated this campaign in hopes of garnering a sliver of the attention being lavished upon Pokémon Go.The pictures were distributed on Twitter by the Revolutionary Forces of Syria Media Office.
