Super Smash Bros. for 3DS demo out today for select Nintendo fans (Sept. 19 for everyone else)

You don’t have much longer to wait to finally get a taste of Nintendo’s next fighting game.

The publisher announced today that North American fans can download the Super Smash Bros. for 3DS demo from the eShop on Sept. 19 … unless you’re a select Club Nintendo Platinum member. If you have registered enough hardware and software to earn your way to the highest level of the company’s loyalty program, you have a chance to get an invite to install the demo today. During its broadcast on the livestreaming video site Twitch today, Nintendo of America confirmed the trial will feature five characters and one stage.
