Bombanana!, the co-op party game that sold more than 1 million copies on Steam in its first 10 days, has now become a hit on Roblox.

The Steam game’s official Roblox adaptation has now surpassed 13 million visits and 50,000 favorites, according to publisher Tark Games. The Roblox version was built for that platform rather than ported from the Steam game. Tark says the numbers show independent games don’t have to stay on the platform where they first break out. The figures come from the company and have not been independently verified.

Bombanana! launched on Steam on Sept. 2, developed by Lefto Studio and published by Tark Games. Before even launching, the Steam game garnered more than 1 million wishlists and over 6 million demo players before launch, the company said in a press release. Just 10 days after its launch, Lefto Studio had sold over 1 million copies.

In the game, three players act as a blind monkey, a deaf monkey and a mute monkey, each holding part of the information needed to defuse a bomb. The game is a three-player online party title. Each player’s monkey holds a different piece of the information needed to defuse bombs before time runs out. The design leans on communication, panic, and comedy between friends.

The Roblox version was developed by FXFX Studio in partnership with Lefto Studio and Tark Games, with the involvement of the original IP holders. The teams treated Roblox as a distinct product rather than a one-to-one copy, keeping the game’s communication-driven identity while reshaping it for the platform’s audience and design language.Tark has called Bombananza! the first Steam-native party game with an official, purpose-built Roblox adaptation.

“It is actually working as a game on its own terms,” explained Ilker Ergen, co-founder of Tark Games. “That opens up a new way of thinking about how indie IP can grow across platforms and reach audiences that may never have encountered the original game on Steam.”
He said the game’s high visit count suggests the core idea of the game can connect with an audience that may never have encountered the original Steam version.

Caner Ataş, founder of FXFX Studio, said the goal was never to copy the Steam game. “We wanted to make a real Roblox experience,” he said. “Seeing the visit numbers, strong like rate and the metrics improve after each update tells us we are on the right track.”

FXFX Studio, based in Tallinn, Estonia, developed and operates the Roblox adaptation. The studio specializes in games built natively for user-generated platforms and handles live operations and content updates.

For Tark, the Roblox performance is an early proof point for a broader publishing strategy. The company argues that a premium PC title can be reimagined for user-generated platforms, reach a new audience and build momentum without being reduced to a conventional port.

Tark Games started in Istanbul in 2025 by Ergen and Ibrahim Yildirim. It describes itself as Türkiye’s first VC-backed independent global publisher focused on PC and console games, with investment from Ludus Ventures. The company has 10 titles in its pipeline, about half developed by studios outside Türkiye, and says it does not take equity in the studios it publishes. Lefto Studio is based in Türkiye and was founded by 25-year-old developer Ufuk Girit.

BOMBANANA! heads to the iOS App Store and Google Play on Oct. 9.
