Resolution Games launches Spatial Ops, its XR shooter where your room is the battlefield

Resolution Games today announced the launch of its long-awaited mixed-reality first-person shooter, Spatial Ops. The title uses players’ available space to create the battlefield for its multiplayer matches, with Resolution saying the game merges the physical and digital worlds. The game is available on Quest devices as well as the PICO Campaign Edition.

Spatial Ops’ Arena mode, which can be played by up to eight players in 4v4 gameplay, is its standout feature. Players can map out a single room or an entire floor to use as an arena. Various modes within Arena include Free for All, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and Domination. The game also features a seven-level single-player Campaign mode. According to Resolution, no two games of Spatial Ops are the same, as the gameplay is tailored to the physical space the player maps.
