Resolution Games announces first Dungeons & Dragons VR game

Resolution Games announced today that it’s collaborating with Wizards of the Coast to make the first licensed Dungeons & Dragons game for virtual reality. While it hasn’t revealed any other information about the game, such as a title or a release date, it will be set somewhere in the D&D universe.

Resolution’s previous work includes Demeo, the VR card-based tabletop title (which later expanded to non-VR platforms) and Demeo Battles. Tommy Palm, Resolution’s CEO, said of the collaboration, “Dungeons & Dragons offers one of the richest fantasy worlds that has ever been created, and it only gets bigger with every new sourcebook and adventure. We’re beyond humbled to have the opportunity to work with such an incredible IP and look forward to sharing the first details of this new project in the future.”
