Razer partners with 5 startups as Add-Ons to Cortex platform

Razer has partnered with five startups to add their functionality to the gaming peripheral manufacturer’s Cortex platform. With the new Add-Ons marketplace, PC players can enhance their gaming experience with new tools and community-focused apps.

Razer Cortex: Add-Ons launches with five partners to personalize players’ gaming experiences:

  • Buff.game: Earn real-life rewards by just playing your favorite games.

  • Powder.gg: AI powered gameplay clipping and sharing tool designed for streamers and gamers.
  • Epal.gg: A social hub for gamers around the world to team up, make friends, and have fun. Find your match to game or just chill.

Razer plans to expand its offering through its Add-Ons partner program in the coming weeks. Companies can apply today to list their services on Razer Cortex’s marketplace. In exchange for a revenue share, gaming enhancement providers can seamlessly reach Cortex’s 6 million monthly active users.

“Our vision for Razer Cortex: Add-Ons is ambitious. At Razer, we’re all about pushing the envelope and providing gamers with the tools they need to excel,” said Quyen Quach, VP, Razer Software. “Razer Cortex: Add-Ons represents a significant step forward in our mission. It’s a platform built for and by gamers, emphasizing customization, convenience, and community. We plan to expand our library of add-ons, constantly bringing new functionalities and partners onboard to enrich your gaming universe.”

Razer Cortex is not the only gaming add-on and management platform, but the service benefits from Razer’s existing customer-base. And unlike its direct competitors, Cortex also boasts its existing unified library, game performance tools, deal alerts and rewards program.
