Owlchemy Labs rolls out Hexas update for Dimensional Double Shift

Owlchemy Labs announced today that it’s rolling out the first major update for its multiplayer VR title, Dimensional Double Shift. The new update takes inspiration from the studio’s Austin, Texas location, as it adds a new dimension called Hexas. The studio also revealed today that the game has left the open beta phase and is now in early access. Hexas costs $4.99, but only one player needs to own it in order for multiple players to join in.

As always in DDS, players must keep Gas N’ Grill customers happy while also fixing cars. In Hexas, the customers are demonic, the cars are monster trucks and the meals consist of brisket, cornbread and blood (as a native Texan, I can confirm this is a reasonable interpretation of my home cuisine). The new Dimension Pack includes several Hexan-themed rewards, including cosmetics that take example from the Western setting.
