NHL 2K skates on to iOS and Android devices

Let’s get ready to hockey (that’s a thing hockey fans say, right? Right?).

The newest mobile version of publisher 2K’s hockey game is out today for Android and iOS devices. NHL 2K on mobile includes a new My Career mode, where you create a custom player and take him through seasons of professional hockey. It also includes asynchronous multiplayer and live roster updates.

“With the start of the new season days away, now is a great time to provide the millions of NHL fans on iOS and Android devices with a full-featured professional hockey game they’ve been asking for,” said Greg Thomas, the president of developer Visual Concepts, in a press release sent to GamesBeat.

NHL 2K is on sale for $8 on the Google Play and iTunes app stores.
