Nacon delays Terminator: Survivors to 2025 release window

Nacon announced today that it is pushing upcoming open-world game Terminator: Survivors out of its original planned fall release date this year. According to developer Nacon Studio Milan, this is to bring the game up to a certain level of quality. The game is now going to release sometime in 2025, and it’s not clear if Nacon still plans to launch it via Steam early access at that time. At present, it plans to launch Terminator: Survivors on console at a later date.

The publisher revealed the game’s title and details about gameplay at its Nacon Direct show in February. It’s an open-world survival game that can be played solo or with up to three co-op partners. It’s set in 2009 in the original Terminator timeline, as humanity attempts to survive the aftermath of Skynet before John Connor forms this resistance. The player characters have to piece together the truth of the apocalypse while attempting to fend off the threat of other people.
