Microsoft starts taking HoloLens preorders in Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, UK

Microsoft is announcing today that it’s starting to take preorders for the HoloLens augmented reality (AR) headset from people in Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. Microsoft will begin shipping preordered units in late November, according to a statement.

Until now, they’ve only been available for order in the U.S. and Canada. Preorders began in those countries in February, and units started shipping there at the end of March.
