Microsoft’s upcoming console, the Xbox One, had a rough coming-out party. Online requirements angered fans while indie developers complained about the inability to self-publish their own titles.

Microsoft has since reversed its stance on both issues, first by allowing all Xbox Ones to work without online connections and then yesterday by announcing a set of indie-friendly features that rival its upcoming competitor’s, the PlayStation 4.

Given all these changes in policy, we wanted to know if the GamesBeat community has softened any past resentment toward the Xbox One. We took to Twitter and asked our followers if they felt more favorably about the upcoming system now than they did during last month’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, when negative buzz for the Xbox One was at its peak. We posted a sampling of your responses below.

Thanks again for all your responses! Stay tuned for more community questions, and be sure to follow us on Twitter to keep up with all our gaming coverage.
