Microsoft took the wraps of Senua, the third series in the Hellblade franchise. The game is coming in 2027.
The company made the announcement at the Xbox Showcase during Summer Game Fest week in Los Angeles. The trailer was cryptic until Senua, the Celtic warrior who hears voices in her head, bursts through a membrance and goes into battle.
I’m looking forward to this one. As always, Senua has a terrifying war face. It’s the latest version of the game from Ninja Theory. The last time around, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, was a short game that wasn’t really as good as the first one, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. I hope that this one takes us back to the storytelling of the first game.
