GrowMobile helps studios retain their users with engagement features

While getting players into a game is one of the biggest concerns of people working in the free-to-play mobile space, it is often just as difficult to keep those customers around. That’s where Perion wants to step in to help with the latest feature in its GrowMobile platform.

The latest addition to GrowMobile is a new engagement tool that will enable mobile marketers to quickly craft campaigns to encourage spending among players and bring back lapsed fans. Perion is specifically targeting customer-retention managers at game developers with this tool. Mobile gaming is a $30 billion business, and this tool is the latest trying to help developers grab the biggest piece of that.

In a statement, GrowMobile general manager Shai Gottesdiener said that it has “made it a priority to ensure that our clients have the ability to acquire as well as retain their users.”

In addition to this latest feature, GrowMobile also handles player acquisition and social advertising. With the engagement tool, Perion is closer to offering developers a solution that they can rely on throughout the lifetime of a player.

By using GrowMobile, a gamemaker can now reach new players through other games, Facebook, and Twitter. Then the studio can then use the same platform to build targeted campaigns to bring back and coax spending from those same gamers.
