Epic Games has unveiled Fortnitemares 2025, the latest Halloween takeover in Fortnite, bringing together an unprecedented lineup of horror icons.
The event is live now and runs through November 1. Fortnitemares 2025 features nine new collaborations, including crossovers with Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th, Ghost Face from Scream, R.E.P.O., Wednesday Addams, and Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Gang.
Plus, Grammy Award–winning artist Doja Cat also makes her debut as the Mother of Thorns. The event marks one of Fortnite’s most ambitious crossover rosters yet, continuing the game’s tradition of blending pop culture and interactive storytelling.
In addition to Doja Cat’s supernatural in-game persona, two songs from her latest album Vie (“AAAHH MEN!” and “Gorgeous”) are available as Jam Tracks in Fortnite Festival. Players can earn both songs by completing Fortnitemares quests or by purchasing them directly in the in-game store using v-bucks.
The Halloween event is also expanding to Fortnite Reload on October 10, introducing a brand-new map called Nitemare Island. The eerie new battleground features areas like Haunted Hamlet, Spooky Suburbs, and Terror Turrets, offering a mix of scares and surprises for players dropping in during the event.
Fans can also earn exclusive rewards by watching Twitch streams in the Fortnite category between October 9 and October 12. Watching for 30 minutes unlocks the Treat Sack Back Bling, while an hour of viewing grants the Treat Axe Pickaxe.
Fortnitemares has long been one of Fortnite’s most celebrated seasonal events, and this year’s installment leans harder than ever into its horror-meets-pop-culture legacy. Past years featured other horror icons like Michael Myers and Leatherface.
