Hironobu Sakaguichi has received plenty of recognition over the years for creating one of the most significant video game franchises of all time. Now he’s adding one of the biggest awards in the industry to his shelf.

Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi will receive the lifetime achievement award at the 15th annual Game Developers Choice Awards.
