Fallout 4 gets big free update for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on April 25

War never changes – but in the case of Fallout 4, it can get updated for a new generation of consoles. Today Bethesda announced that it’s putting out a free PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S update for its post-apocalyptic RPG on April 25.

In a blog posted on Bethesda’s website, the developer said the update includes native versions of the game for the current consoles, as well as Performance mode (promising up to 60 FPS) and Quality mode (for “increased resolutions”). Those playing on PS4 and Xbox One aren’t left behind, however: Bethesda will also have an update with stability improvements and bug fixes for quests.
