Super League Gaming, an esports company that holds events for amateurs, reported that it had a net loss of $30.6 million in 2019, on revenues of $1 million. This illustrates the reality of how it isn’t easy to make money in the fledgling esports market, at least for some companies.
But the company noted that the net loss includes non-cash expenses, and that it’s operating loss was $14.5 million.
