Dishonored 2 launch trailer sets up an epic conflict between sisters

Bethesda has released the launch trailer for Dishonored 2, setting up an epic conflict between Empress Emily Kaldwin and her lost sister Delilah.

The big release from Bethesda’s Arkane Studios debuts on November 11. But early access is available starting today. In the game, you play as a supernatural assassin, either as Emily or her father Corvo Attano. The game goes beyond the city of Dunwall to Karnaca, a coastal city that holds the key to restoring Emily to the throne.

The trailer shows the unexpected arrival of Delilah, who uses force to take the throne. On the run, you flee to Karnaca and begin the process of cutting throats — either in the open or in stealth — to find your way back to Delilah. The game debuts on November 11 on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It is rated mature.

I went to a preview event recently where I played a level where you have to infiltrate the Clockwork Mansion, a place that has all sorts of mechanical traps, puzzles, and guardians that are out to stop you from assassinating the master of the home. The game gives you options of taking down enemies in a non-lethal way or with brutal methods.
