Core Loop is in the early stages of making a cross-platform MMO.

Core Loop raises $2.4 million to build cross-platform MMO with co-op gameplay

New game studio Core Loop has raised $2.4 million to develop a new cross-platform massively multiplayer online game. That’s a lot of money for a company with just four people, but the team is headed by veterans such as Vincenzo Alagna and Dan Chao. Their games have generated billions in revenues to date.

The funding is one more example of the investment frenzy in game companies that has seen more than 100 game companies get funding in the past nine months.
