It's hard to argue the fact that, for the most part, games from the '80s and '90s were much harder than modern-day graphic masterpieces. Classic titles like Q*Bert and Contra tested your level of eye/hand coordination in a way more recent titles don't — pure and simple.
To complete most of the games we fought to go through back in the day (some without the option to save no less), kids these days would probably need a Super-Easy mode. I wonder what that would be like…. [via College Humor]:
I especially like the old dude giving Link the Tri-Force right away. Just imagine how much easier it would be to kick Ganon's ass with all that power up front. It would also come in handy when he had to tell his friends to "Come and get it" when it's time to break for lunch.
