Camb.AI has partnered with World League Live (WLL) to use AI translation to make the sports, gaming and entertainment company’s content available in 150 languages.

Both companies aim to use the partnership to break down language barriers and make it easier for young people everywhere to engage with, learn from, and be inspired by their favorite sport icons.

As the world becomes increasingly more connected, language barriers still remain as an
obstacle for many. Camb.AI, by building a global content localization infrastructure driven by AI-powered multilingual translation – available in more than 150 languages – has a mission to make sports, entertainment and other content universal for everyone across the globe.

“We’re thrilled to announce this partnership and see this as a significant step forward in our mission to use AI to help democratize content on a global scale,” said Akshat Prakash,
cofounder and CTO at Camb.AI, in a statement. “Working with World League Live! allows us to give fans everywhere the opportunity to extend their AI conversational avatar experience, enabling them to communicate in more than 150 languages worldwide.”

At the forefront of mobile gaming innovation, World League Live creates real-time interactive experiences that allow fans to engage with and challenge their favorite icons. Through its “Play with the Stars” format, top players can meet their idols in real life and compete against them, with these events streamed live across Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. And users can engage directly with global icons like Alessandro Del Piero and other football players within the game.

Asked about the inspiration for the business, Camb.AI CEO and cofounder Avneesh Prakash said, “We say that the ‘Internet was created for the English speakers and we felt it was time to redesign it for the world.’ Early experience of the co-founders, growing up in a non-English speaking country led us to first-hand experience the language divide.”

He added, “Camb.AI is driven to solve the language problem for eight billion people through our first of a kind comprehensive localization infrastructure. Content creators should have the freedom to create their content in their own language and consumers should have the choice to consume any content in their language – live streamed or VOD – video, audio, music, images, text, document, conversations. That’s Camb.AIlocalization infrastructure for you.

By teaming up with Camb.AI and utilizing its industry-leading speech-to-speech translation technology, WLL will further expand its reach, providing fans worldwide with new opportunities to connect, free from the language barrier.

“At World League Live, we believe in the power of authentic connections between fans and
athletes, enabled by technology,” said Francesco Ferrazzino, CEO and founder at World League Live, in a statement. “Our partnership with Camb.AI will allow us to break down language barriers and empower the next generation of fans worldwide to engage with their heroes like never before.”

This partnership allows WLL to make athlete-fan interaction truly global by removing language as a barrier, so fans anywhere can learn from and engage with their heroes in their own language, in real time, anywhere, anytime. Additionally, By making sports content accessible to non-English speakers, the partnership inspires and educates young fans worldwide.
