The Europeans are heading East. A new report from venture capital firm Atomico has found that European game companies doubled their share in the Chinese mobile game market from 2014 to 2016.
European game company revenues grew nine times from $28 million in 2014 to $254 million in 2016. That’s a relatively small slice of the Chinese mobile game market, according to research culled from Atomico, App Annie, CB Insights, Unity Technologies, and S&P Global.
