At CES 2026, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) used its showcase to celebrate 20 years of gaming hardware while unveiling a new wave of high-end laptops, experimental form factors, and cross-industry collaborations.
The centerpiece of ROG’s CES lineup is its refreshed Zephyrus laptop family, led by updated ROG Zephyrus G14 and ROG Zephyrus G16 models. Both systems feature Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with up to 50 TOPS of on-device AI performance, while supporting NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPUs in the G14 and RTX 5090 Laptop GPUs in the G16. ROG says higher GPU power limits, improved intelligent cooling, and new 1100-nit Nebula HDR displays are designed to deliver more sustained performance without sacrificing portability.
ASUS also returned to one of its most distinctive ideas with the new ROG Zephyrus Duo, which features two 16-inch 3K Nebula HDR OLED touch displays running at 120Hz.
Aimed at power users who juggle gaming, streaming, and creative workflows, the Duo combines flagship Intel processors with up to an RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, positioning it as a showcase for what premium mobile gaming systems can do when form factor constraints are pushed aside.

One of the most interesting announcements is ROG’s partnership with Kojima Productions, resulting in the ROG Flow Z13-KJP special edition and a line of themed peripherals. Designed with input from legendary artist Yoji Shinkawa, the Flow Z13-KJP blends ROG hardware with Kojima Productions’ Ludens iconography, framing the device as both a high-performance 2-in-1 PC and a collectible object.
The collaboration extends beyond the device itself to include a themed headset, mouse, and mousepad, reinforcing ROG’s broader push to position its products as lifestyle and identity markers rather than purely utilitarian gaming tools. It also reflects a wider industry trend in which hardware makers increasingly lean on creative partnerships to differentiate premium devices in a crowded market.
ASUS also unveiled the ROG G1000, a prebuilt desktop featuring what ASUS calls the world’s first holographic fan system in a consumer gaming PC. The AniMe Holo fan projects customizable holographic visuals while remaining thermally isolated from core components, pairing spectacle with high-end configurations that include RTX 5090-class GPUs, up to 128GB of DDR5 memory, and PCIe 5.0 storage.
On the display side, ROG also partnered with XREAL to introduce the ROG XREAL R1 Gaming Glasses, which feature 240Hz micro-OLED displays and a control dock designed for PCs, consoles, and handhelds like the ROG Ally or Steam Deck. ASUS positions the glasses as a way to “supersize” gaming experiences without a traditional monitor, hinting at how spatial displays could become a complementary accessory for future gaming setups.
The ASUS CES 2026 lineup reflects a mature brand leaning into differentiation rather than mass-market simplicity. While competitors emphasize efficiency, thinness, or value, ROG continues to bet on enthusiast audiences who respond to performance extremes, experimental designs, and strong visual identity.
