German developer Deck13 Interactive is working on Lords of the Fallen 2.
Lords of the Fallen released back in October and gained some fairly positive reviews. The action role-playing game drew heavily on From Software’s notoriously difficult Souls games — such as Dark Souls and Demon’s Souls — and its take on fantasy action has resonated with enough gamers to make a sequel viable. In a market often dominated by long-standing series, it’s refreshing to see a new title break through, albeit one that riffed on tried and tested game mechanics.
Lords of the Fallen’s executive producer, Tomasz Gop, confirmed the news in an email to Eurogamer, saying, “We’re now working on vision and concepts for Lords 2.”
We have no release date or further information on Lords of the Fallen 2 yet, with Gop not ready to share anything beyond a simple confirmation.
