A barrel of Donkey Kong Country games hit Wii U and 3DS Virtual Console

He’s the leader of the bunch. You know him well. He’s finally back to kick some tail.

Nintendo has released both the Donkey Kong Country (originally on Super Nintendo) and Donkey Kong Land (originally for Game Boy) trilogies for the Wii U and 3DS Virtual Console digital shops. Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong’s Quest, and Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble are on the Wii U, and Donkey Kong Land, Donkey Kong Land 2, and Donkey Kong Land 3 are on the 3DS. All six games are classic 2D platformers featuring a cast Nintendo’s famous apes.
