The Borderlands are expanding to China.

Chinese publisher Shanda Games is working with 2K Games and Gearbox Software to bring Borderlands Online to that market in 2015, according to Kotaku. It will launch on PC and mobile platforms. Borderlands Online will have players to choose from one of four character classes, each based on one of the originals from the first Borderlands.

The Borderlands series has seen a lot of expansion this year. A prequel, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, came out in October for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac, and Linux. Tales from the Borderlands, the first episode in a series of adventure games developed by The Walking Dead studio Telltale Games, came out in November for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Vita, PC, Mac, and Linux.

Borderlands isn’t the first big franchise to get an online-only release for China, with Call of Duty Online and Monster Hunter Online also in beta in there. Like those games, Borderlands Online will likely be free-to-play.
