Trials Frontier reaches 6 million downloads in first week on iOS

Motorcycle platforming isn’t just for consoles and PC anymore. Ubisoft brought its Trials franchise to mobile, and it has already found a huge audience on that platform.

The French publisher revealed that gamers have already downloaded Trials Frontier for iOS devices more than 6 million times. The free-to-play release, which has players using their motorized bikes to overcome obstacles on a number of stages, debuted on Apple’s smartphones and tablets on April 10. After just a week, the app is the No. 3 most-downloaded iPhone game in the U.S., according to market-tracking firm App Annie. It is in the top 10 most downloaded in 90 other countries.
