We made it: Game industry is already past the worst of the next-gen transition (analysis)

Video game sales at retail are shrinking. For more than a year, reports from industry-tracking firm The NPD Group continue to reveal sales down in year-over-year comparisons. January 2013 was worse than January 2012, which was worse than January 2011. It’s a downward spiral.
