Good Morning Bitmobbers! As E3 hangover week begins, we are proud to be able to finally bring you the beta episode of Pixel Revolt featuring Derek Lavigne, Brett Bates and Jeff Grubb.

We split the show into three sections, so let me give you a quick rundown

Section 1 – We all attempt to answer Robert Ashley’s question "Why do we play games?"

Section 2 – In the spirit of the Mobcast, each of us bring one community article to the table for discussion. This week, the featured articles were:

The Last Independent Game Store by Steve Nyktas

Why I Still Love 2-D Gaming by Andrew Wilson

Diverging Motion Controls Opens Up New Problems by Jonathan Schoen

Section 3 – Finally, we go through your email and voicemail responses to our question "What feature or features would you most like to see on a gaming website?"

Special thanks to those who submitted responses for the beta episode: Cody Winn, Spencer Atkinson, Trevor Hinkle, and Andy House for their emails, and to Lance Darnell for his voicemail.

To go along with this, we now have our question for the next podcast. What is your favorite multiplayer gaming memory? We feel like this may be a slightly easier question for people to answer and hope to get plenty of responses to make a great show next time as well!

For submission help, you can follow the instructions here

We hope that everyone enjoys the show and we welcome any and all feedback!
