Xreal, the maker of lightweight XR hardware, said early reservations for Xreal Aura have surpassed 10,000 reservations globally.
Xreal Aura is the company’s next generation optical see-through wired XR glasses built for the Android XR ecosystem. The launch is coming this fall.
The milestone reflects strong early interest across both consumer and enterprise audiences as Xreal continues building toward the next phase of lightweight, spatial computing. Introduced as part of Xreal’s collaboration with Google and Qualcomm Technologies Inc., Xreal Aura combines the company’s expertise in lightweight XR hardware and optics with the Android XR platform, assistance from Google Gemini, as well as Snapdragon Reality Elite platform’s performance.
The split compute architecture of glasses plus compute puck is designed to bring powerful, immersive, wearable computing into a form factor built for everyday use, while also opening new opportunities for developers and businesses exploring the next generation of spatial experiences.
Strong demand for Xreal Aura led to the sellout of the company’s initial reservation offer — which let customers secure a $199 launch credit for $99. Interested customers can still reserve early access with a $199 deposit, securing their place in line as Xreal moves closer to launching the device.
