Tebex, the game monetization and commerce platform and a division of Overwolf, has announced a partnership with VaultN, the commercial infrastructure connecting publishers, distributors, and retailers across premium gaming. Through the integration, publishers using the VaultN platform can activate Tebex-powered storefronts to sell directly to their players, with VaultN providing the secure distribution and entitlement layer and Tebex operating commerce, payments, and compliance.
Historically, adopting direct-to-consumer game sales has meant a heavy lift for publishers with building payment processing, tax handling, compliance, secure key delivery, and player support in-house.
This integration removes those barriers as a publisher on VaultN can activate a Tebex storefront and begin selling to players directly, while VaultN issues keys and entitlements on demand at the point of sale to help protect against grey-market leakage, and Tebex operates the storefront end-to-end, from checkout and payments through compliance and support.

“We’re obsessed with a simple idea: PC distribution that runs itself. Our job is to get publishers’ games on every channel – and direct-to-player is one of the most valuable channels there is. Partnering with Tebex makes that channel available to every publisher on VaultN, with the same automation and protection they already rely on,” said Julian Migura, COO of VaultN, in a press release.
VaultN has partnered with Take-Two Interactive and already secured customers such as Bethesda, Team17, and Landfall, bringing an established publisher network to the integration.
“At Tebex, we act as an extension of the studio, removing the complexity of payments, compliance, and support so teams can focus on making great games. Going direct gives studios a closer relationship with their players and a clearer understanding of what they want and need, which is what drives greater trust and long-term value, “said Liam Wiltshire, Vice President and GM of Tebex in the same press release.
“Bringing Tebex to VaultN’s publishers means they can launch direct-to-consumer storefronts quickly and confidently, while we handle the commerce behind the scenes.”
The result is a direct-to-consumer channel that publishers own alongside their existing storefronts, giving them a closer relationship with their players and first-party insight into player needs that comes with owning that relationship. The partnership aims to provide a new, secure route to market that builds trust and long-term player value without adding operational overhead.
