Scopely’s Monopoly Go! is bringing Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote, and the rest of the Looney Tunes gang into its mobile game world starting today, July 29.
The Looney Tunes integration, officially licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, folds Looney Tunes characters and their classic rivalries into Monopoly Go!’s ongoing farm-themed season. Players can now encounter Looney Tunes-branded events, collectibles, and challenges built around the franchise’s signature slapstick humor.
This season of Monopoly Go! introduces two new features: Infinite Harvest and Porky’s Cafe. Infinite Harvest is an always-on mode where players grow crops as they roll the dice, harvesting them for rewards or letting them keep growing for bigger payouts; Looney Tunes characters including Bugs Bunny, Tweety, and Wile E. Coyote show up with surprises as farms expand. Porky’s Cafe has players collecting Ingredient Stickers to fill recipe requests from Looney Tunes characters, using duplicate stickers to complete orders and unlock cosmetics and other rewards.
Scopely President of Games Victor Diaz-Roig described the Looney Tunes partnership was a chance to let the franchise “take something familiar and turn it upside down” in a press release.
The collaboration also comes with new trailers featuring Eric Bauza, the Emmy-winning voice actor behind Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Tweety. In the press release, Bauza said pairing the characters with Monopoly Go! felt natural, given that both share “larger-than-life personalities, timeless comedy and a little perfectly timed trouble.”
Beyond the two new modes, Looney Tunes characters will appear throughout the season’s existing event types. Partners lets friends team up to build Looney Tunes-inspired attractions; Racers pits players against each other in character-themed races inspired by classic Looney Tunes chase sequences; and Adventures offers cooperative levels themed around famous Looney Tunes rivalries. A limited-time Deluxe Drop will also unlock Looney Tunes-themed collectibles and surprises.
On the rewards side, the season adds two nine-sticker themed sets that players can complete by trading with friends to unlock exclusive cosmetics. Additional Looney Tunes-themed tokens, dice, shields, and emojis can be earned through sticker sets, album completion, mini-games, Porky’s Cafe, and leagues. All players can also claim a free Daffy-themed shield starting today.
Happy Harvest Season and its Looney Tunes tie-in will run in Monopoly Go! from July 29 through September 23.
