Bonfire Studios will be officially kicking off the Closed Beta for their competitive PvP action game, Arkheron, on July 15 – 26, 2026. Players will have two weeks to jump into the game and see all the changes that have been made since Steam Next Fest.

Queues will be available 24/7, including the new Spires game mode and the peak competitive mode, Ascension. According to a press release, Spires is a 3v3 mode built around “build creativity and combat.”

The core loop is, load into a ready room, choose your items, fight it out in a best-of-3, and climb as high as you can before losses reset your run. It’s a great way to experiment with new builds and hone your skills in combat.
