Blacknut and Crystal Dynamics announced a partnership to bring the Tomb Raider Survivor Trilogy to Blacknut’s cloud gaming ecosystem.

The deal is clearly part of a plan to get Tomb Raider fans excited about two upcoming Lara Croft games by getting people to play older games like the Survivor series: Tomb Raider (2013), Rise of the Tomb Raider (2015), and Shadow of the Tomb Raider (2018). In those games, players are introduced to the young Lara Croft at the start of her career. The Tomb Raider franchise has sold more than 100 million copies since the 1990s. At The Game Awards last week, Tomb Raider: Catalyst and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis were unveiled.

Blacknut is a subscription-based cloud gaming platform that gives players unlimited access to over 1,000 games across every genre — including multiplayer titles — all under one subscription. With optional game Pass add-ons and instant play on any connected device, Blacknut lets players jump into their favorite games anytime, anywhere, and seamlessly switch between devices with automatic cloud saves.

This agreement marks a significant milestone for Blacknut, helping its position as a preferred and trusted cloud partner for triple-A publishers across the globe. With the addition of Crystal Dynamics, Blacknut continues to expand its premium portfolio and demonstrate its technical expertise, licensing capabilities, and proven know-how in delivering world-class cloud gaming experiences at scale.

For more than two decades, Tomb Raider has stood as one of the most influential franchises in gaming and entertainment. Lara Croft has become a cultural icon, inspiring generations of players and maintaining a powerful presence across games, films, comics, and global pop culture. Bringing this franchise to the cloud ensures that more players than ever can rediscover — or experience for the first time — her origin story, her adventures, and her evolution into one of gaming’s most enduring heroes.

“Crystal Dynamics joining Blacknut’s network of triple-A partners is a strong testament to our platform’s reliability and the extensive reach Blacknut has developed through its global distribution footprint. We’re excited to bring Lara Croft’s most defining adventures to millions of players worldwide through the cloud — no downloads, no hardware barriers, just pure gameplay,” said Nabil Laredj, vice president of new business and licensing at Blacknut, in a statement.

Through this partnership, the complete trilogy will be made available across Blacknut’s B2C consumer offering as well as its B2B white-label cloud gaming solutions, empowering telcos, ISPs, device manufacturers, and media brands worldwide to offer premium action-adventure experiences instantly, on any device.

The partnership reinforces Blacknut’s commitment to delivering the industry’s most diverse and high-quality streaming catalog while supporting publishers in extending the life and reach of their most iconic franchises.

The Tomb Raider Survivor Trilogy will roll out on the Blacknut service in the coming weeks across supported markets.
