Starkey unveiled its flagship product line, Omega AI, to enable the most advanced hearing technology to date.
Designed to outperform all standards for superior sound quality and durability while pioneering new health features, Omega AI sets a new gold standard for intelligent hearing solutions, delivering performance that’s not just smart, but superhuman, the company said.
“When excellence drives every process; innovation, quality, service, and delivery—great things happen,” said Brandon Sawalich, CEO of Starkey, in a statement. “Since being the first to introduce AI technology in hearing aids, Starkey has continued to set the speed of innovation for the industry.”
Sawalich added, “We are once again excited to push the boundaries of science and raise the bar of expectation for hearing professionals and their patients. Omega AI is an engineering feat only Starkey could accomplish, and it reflects our unwavering commitment to creating advanced technology that connects people back to their lives.”
Legacy built and future driven, Omega AI represents Starkey’s next major step toward transforming the hearing experience for patients worldwide. This product introduction underscores Starkey’s dedication to leading in AI innovation and DNN in hearing technology.
Next-level sound quality
Omega AI introduces DNN 360, which has deep neural network–powered directionality and special awareness features. This advancement provides as much as 28% better speech intelligibility in challenging environments and up to an eight dB signal-to-noise ratio improvement for better spatial awareness, all without sacrificing Starkey’s industry-leading 51 hours of battery life or water resistance.
Starkey has further strengthened its devices for real-world performance. Omega AI features waterproofing tested to last 10 times longer than previous coatings under the toughest conditions.
Starkey’s Omega AI brings smart visibility to hearing aids. New green and red LED indicator lights on RIC RT and mRIC R devices confirm power and Bluetooth connection at a glance. Taking it further, Starkey has made the LEDs double as a find-my-hearing aid tool a feature that helps patients quickly locate misplaced devices.
This brings back memories for me, as my mother used to lose her hearing aids all the time. And that was when they were really expensive.
The industry-first TeleHear AI feature uses generative AI technology to help patients resolve common hearing issues in real time, with 93% predictive accuracy. Plus, streaming to StarLink Edge TV Streamer now starts and reconnects automatically, a popular professional and patient feature.
Omega AI also introduces two powerful health-focused tools through the My Starkey app. Balance Builder delivers at-home exercises to improve stability and coordination, while an industry-first automatic respiratory rate monitor tracks breathing in the background—helping patients stay proactive and ahead of potential health issues.
“Omega AI reflects the heart of who we are as a company,” said Sawalich. “With unmatched technology, dedicated partners, and an unwavering focus on patients, we’re demonstrating how innovation and precision can redefine what better hearing means for people everywhere and give anyone a superhuman advantage.”
