Deceit 2 goes free-to-play ahead of console launch on April 3

World Makers announced today that it is relaunching its social deduction/survival title, Deceit 2, on PC as a free-to-play game. According to the developers, the game has received a rework in response to player criticism and will receive a premium content update called the Werewolf Pack. The developer also announced that it’s launching on PlayStation and Xbox on April 3.

Deceit 2 is a co-op horror title in which two players are Infected, secretly working against the Innocent (uninfected) players. According to World Makers, they’ve shaken the dynamic by adding a third faction called the Cursed, who have their own goals separate from the other players. One new role unique to the Cursed is The Chemist, who is trying to poison the other characters. The new update also adds a new map.
