Pokémon Unite.

Pokémon Unite launches for mobile on September 22

Pokémon Unite will launch for iOS and Android on September 22. The Pokémon Company announced the release date during today’s Pokémon Presents.

Unite debuted for Switch on July 21. The free-to-play MOBA has been a hit on the console, and a release on mobile will only make the title available to an even bigger audience.’

Unite enters a crowded and competitive market on iOS and Android. Some of the leaders have either big names (like Riot Games’ League of Legends) or have been chart-topping mainstays for years (like Honor of Kings and Brawl Stars).  According to mobile research firm Sensor Tower, the top five mobile MOBAs by downloads for the first seven months of 2021 are:

  • Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
  • Brawl Stars
  • Honor of Kings
  • League of Legends: Wild Rift
  • Bed Wars

We also found out that Mamoswine and Sylveon will be coming to the game soon as new playable Pokémon.
