Shotcall raises $2.2 million to build gaming community hubs

Shotcall has raised $2.2 million in a seed funding round to build a platform to form gaming communities and marketplaces for fans.

A recent Techstars accelerator alumni, Shotcall lets people create communities around games such as League of Legends, Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone, and other games. Shotcall’s founders are Thomas Gentle, Gordon Li, and Riley Auten. They thought fan communities should evolve beyond livestreaming, where fans just watch their favorite players, message boards, and online media.
