Bungie is about to drop all the details on its upcoming Destiny expansion in a livestream that’s on right now, but you don’t have to wait to get a peek at it.
A trailer for Destiny: Rise of Iron is playing for some Snapchat users, and you can watch it right now. It shows characters wielding fiery ax weapons and exploring new parts of the world that gamers first saw in a leak yesterday. This expansion is an important release for Bungie and publisher Activision as it fills in a gap left after the companies pushed the full Destiny 2 into 2017, according to rumors. To ensure this sci-fi shooter, which was a massive investment for Activision, succeeds in the long term, the company is trying to please as many dedicated fans as possible with Rise of Iron.
