If you want to get into the online test for Tom Clancy’s The Division, you can preorder the full game … or you can move to Singapore.

The Division’s beta is free for anyone who lives in Singapore. All you need to do is go to the Xbox Store page for the demo and click to “buy” it for $0. Of course, if you open the link in an incognito window, Microsoft won’t have any idea where you are. This has led to a number of Xbox One owners getting into the beta without preordering the game — even though they don’t live in Singapore.

We’ve reached out to Microsoft and Ubisoft to ask about this loophole, and we’ll update this post with any comment from either company.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a beta test locked behind a pay wall made available for free in Singapore or Australia. The same thing happened for the multiplayer demo for Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
