Everything is better with a jetpack.

Hi-Rez Studios released Jetpack Fighter today, its first mobile game. It’s currently available for iOS devices in English-speaking territories. Jetpack Fighter is a free-to-play 2D action game.

“Hi-Rez plans to position and support Jetpack Fighter as an emerging esport in the mobile games space, with more details on its mobile esports initiative slated for later this year,” a press release from Hi-Rez sent to GamesBeat noted. While Jetpack Fighter is a single-player game, you can compete against the scores of others.

Hi-Rez is the developer behind Smite, the popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA). While MOBAs are a booming market (Smite itself  has more than 10 million players), the mobile space is huge. The industry was worth $30 billion in 2015.
