When you’re a free-to-play mobile game, you’re always hunting milestones.

Publisher NHN Entertainment revealed today that its mobile action role-playing game Guardian Hunter has passed 3 million downloads worldwide just three months after launching. That makes it a hit in a mobile market that could be worth $30 billion in 2015, according to market research firm Newzoo. The free-to-play title is available on iOS and Android.

Guardian Hunter comes from South Korea, but 90 percent of its sales happen outside of that country.

Developer Troll Games is also launching a new update for Guardian Hunter which simplifies and speeds up the game’s evolution mechanic and adds three new Guardians to the roster.
