Mega Man Legacy Collection comes out digitally on August 25 — and it’s less than the boxed version

Mega Man fans won’t have to wait long for a heavy dose of nostalgia.

Capcom announced today that the Mega Man Legacy Collection will come out digitally on August 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Boxed versions will hit retailers in early 2016, along with a digital version of the game for Nintendo 3DS. The digital versions cost $15, while the boxed ones are $30.

The collection includes the first six Mega Man games, originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System. That $15 price is pretty decent when you remember that Nintendo sells each of the NES games separately for $5 each on the Wii U and 3DS Virtual Consoles.

The Legacy Collection also has a Challenge Mode that remixes sections from all six games. Capcom is also adding a library’s worth of concept and official art, a music player, and online leaderboards for each game.
