Microsoft: Xbox One sales up 81% year-over-year in May

The PlayStation 4 outsold the Xbox One last month, but Microsoft’s gaming device is still selling well.

The company confirmed that Xbox One sales are on the rise. Seeing as the system is now selling for $350, and it sold for around $400 to $500 last May, that makes sense. Still, after outselling the PS4 last month, this is a slightly underwhelming performance for the Xbox One. Microsoft’s system is still $50 cheaper than Sony’s, but that has only helped it win one out of the first five months of 2015.
